About Medicare

Medicare is a federal government program that provides health coverage for Americans who are 65 or older, and younger people with certain disabilities. At EASY Insurance, we specialize in helping people like you enroll in Medicare. And if you are already enrolled but require additional health coverage, our experts will help you find the plans that address those needs.

As your healthcare consultant, EASY Insurance will offer you honest and unbiased advice. By comparing different insurance plans, we help you make informed decisions about your Medicare options. Our goal is to guide you to the plans that offer coverages and features that best meet your needs.

If you are concerned about the cost of deductibles and copayments, we will identify insurance providers whose plans can reduce your out-of-pocket expenses under Medicare or expand coverage to services that are not covered by the program.

We will never let you do it alone. Our agents will stay with you throughout the entire journey. From understanding your requirements to finding the right health plan to completing the sign-up, they will be there to guide you.

Frequently Asked Questions

We can help you get the most out of your coverage. Have a question? Just ask.

How do I sign up for Medicare?

If you receive Social Security benefits, you will be enrolled in Original Medicare automatically when you become eligible, so you don't have to sign up. You will receive information by mail a few months before you can get Medicare.

You can choose to decline Part B coverage since it requires a premium payment. But, if you change your mind later and want Part B, your coverage may be delayed, and you may have to pay a penalty for signing up late.

If you don't receive Social Security benefits and you are not ready to apply for them, you should sign up for Medicare three months before you turn 65.

Let us at EASY Insurance help you find the plan that offers the coverage and features that you need.

Who is eligible for Medicare?

Medicare is generally for those 65 or older. Your eligibility first begins three months before you turn 65. However you may be able to get Medicare earlier if you have a disability, End-Stage Renal disease or ALS.

Is Medicare mandatory?

You don't have to enroll in Medicare, but if you don't sign up for Medicare Part B when you become eligible, you may have to pay a higher premium.

If you are 65 years old and have insurance through your employer or union, you can keep that insurance and wait to sign up for Medicare using a Special Enrollment Period (SEP).

How much does Medicare cost?

Many people get Part A for free. For most of them, when they buy Part A, they must also get Part B. Part B can be purchased independently of Part A, and some people who don't choose to get Part A can also buy Part B.

However the costs of Medicare plans differ based on the plans you choose, your income, and sometimes your age. Therefore, when selecting the right combination of Medicare policies, you should weigh your coverage needs against the plans' costs and choose carefully.
